Prof. Yuval Heled, Ph.D, LLB, FACSM
Professor Yuval Heled is a world-renowned expert in the sciences of
integrative physiology and exercise physiology, scientist, consultant, author and lecturer. In the past, he served as the chief physiologist of the IDF Medical Corps. Among his scientific fields of activity are the study of the limits of human performance, survival in extreme conditions, physical training,
adaptation to stress, health promotion and life expectancy extension. He serves as a full professor in the Faculty of Science at the Kibbutzim College in Tel-Aviv and teaches and consults at other academic institutions in Israel and around the world. Professor Heled authored dozens of scientific articles, book chapters and two books; ‘Health outside the comfort zone – The science of
hormesis’, which dealt with improving resilience through exposure to "healthy stress", and ’How long until only 120?’ which dealt with the science of longevity. His extensive and integrative education and experience have made Professor Heled a sought-after lecturer and consultant in academia, various organizations and companies, as well as in personal counseling settings.
